Plague Parade: Opus 1

Daily DeviationPlague Parade-detail1 by *kuksi has incredible detail and a great ambiance, whilst remaining somewhat disturbing in its appearance from the combination of organic qualities with metallics. Rather like a half organic, half clockwork creation, the glassy eyes combined with the multitude of tiny figure surrounding the piece give it a foreboding quality, especially when you look at the ruined buildings that surround it. In a cool way this reminds me of a scene out of Lord of the Rings, where the huge elephants are carrying a ton of warriors...all fighting ontop this huge beast. Awesome details, as usual.
one question... is that a xoloitzcuintle?
stunning piece. do you sculpt each piece one by one?
Positively apocalyptic. There is so much chaos, despair and ruination in this piece. It is very powerful.
